It was a heavy overcast day, too dark for my normal shooting, so I decided it was time to try out my Better Beamer for the first time. I think it worked pretty well.

Thanks John! Yes, it is a fresnel lens that concentrates and extends the flash beam. I've attached a couple pictures of it on my rig.
Cool! I think my uncle has one of those. Looks like it does a good job. The light quality in this photo is really nice. I wouldn't have known it was a flash image if you hadn't said so. How far away were you?
20 yards, maybe a little closer. The nice thing is that it is light weight and can be put on in seconds. Now I just need to learn more about that EX 580II flash
