Dug out the Rokinon 8mm while sightseeing last week. El Capitan is around the wall to the left, and upper Yosemite Falls is seen towards the right.
My first trip to Yosemite, but we arrived late in the day, ended up staying the night and planned to continue the next day. Checking the weather forecast would have been useful..... Here's the next morning:
And the road out would have been very iffy had we been in my car, but my son's giant Raptor (previous pic) gave no argument. Snowing hard above 5000 feet. Being a Floridian since 1968, this was my first genuine snow experience since that so-long-ago year!
Of course we had to get out and act like children for a while!
We had planned to hit the Grand Canyon on the way east from there, but conditions in Arizona were not conducive. The big ditch remains unchecked on the bucket list.
