    From my yard

Just a few shots from around the yard today. The weather has been awesome! I couldn’t get close to the butterfly for a good shot (not positive but I think it’s a morning cloak). The ant was baited with a drop of honey… looks like I need to clean my sensor Oh and... two different bunnies, they were chasing each other around.

    Thank you for looking

    CHEATER!!

I like the first ant, and the fly/flower best.

How did you guys get butterflies before us? WTF?! Keep em coming, and I wish you many more gorgeous days.

    Thank you Payn and Bev.

Payn, our University here has some land set aside just for butterflies. One day when I was there, one of their researchers told me that the morning cloak is a very early b/f. I've seen them around with tons of snow on the ground.

When I first scanned your images before reading your description, I said (out very loudly) "oh, cool!" when I got the first ant/drop shot. I like your choice of composition/colors.

Yeah, good luck trying to blow out the dust.

Missed the comment about the dust before. If you need a "wet" solution, try GreenClean wet/dry swabs... good stuff.
