    My First Eagle In The Wild

    I caught this guy perched in a tree top. As I was setting my focus and framing the shot, he took off. This is the only shot I got.

    nicely done. You did well with the timing and focus all tings considered. Consider this te Ice Breaker shot.... they get better from here.

    great shot, i too got my first try at a eagle here in the wilds,but i had my point and shoot fully extended, rather grainy, didn't have my D50 at the time,hopefully this summer i get a second chance,this one likes to hang around a country slaughter yard for scraps,and the landowner says he parks himself on the highest pine tree quite often,.
