Mountain Laurel at Purgatory

Purgatory brook that is. Just above lower falls all along both banks are tons of mountain laurel. When I shot this area back in April I knew I'd have to come back when it bloomed. Little did I know I'd practically have to be a contortionist, but what the heck.









The flowers here are much whiter than they are in other areas, where they are more pink. Just one of those things.
