More work with the Macro Lens and Twin-light Flash

Here's just a couple more from last night and today:

This fly is tiny....and very quick! Real pain to shoot.

I'm not sure, but I think this frog is trying to tell me that he's really tired of me shooting him (especially with the flash). Note his "finger" in that last shot.

I think the snap of the housefly is outstanding. I really want one of theose flash rigs myself. I have seen them retail for about $350, does this price sound about right?

That's actually not a housefly, it's a "long-legged Fly". It is MUCH smaller than a housefly. The twin macro I use runs about $600.00 at B&H. I have the Canon MT24-EX. The off-brands may be cheaper. Thanks for the comments.

Excellent job balancing the lighting in #1 and #2. The flash is/are nearly undetectable - bravo!
