More raptor shots - Caution - image heavy

I'll start by asking for some ID assistance with this guy...

Some TV shots - This guy was VERY co-operative!

And my favourite - completely uncropped, just got 1/2 the bird. At first glance I was disappointed that I only got 1/2 of him...then I started looking at it and decided I liked it a lot.

    Some RT Crops:

All in all, a fairly productive day!

    Cheers,

    Randy.

Very nice in-flight shots of TV's.

I agree about the 1/2 capture - unique and cool. I would imagine a crop to make it a 2:1 landscape aspect ratio might make it a nice framed image.

Good series. I like the 1/2 capture a lot, his face is so sharp and it's nice to frame a shot a bit different. Sometimes it can make it more interesting.

I like the turkey vultures too! I almost got a good shot one day, but my husband was a pansy and wouldn't stop in the middle of the road and if flew away lol. It was right in front of us on a bridge. Just a small one. Two lane road headed out to the dismal swamp. There was no one behind us. (lol)
