    More Macro testing.

    Well I'm still trying to figure out this Sigma 105 that i got last week.I'm having troubles with my DOF. I'm trying different combos of tubes and teleconverters. With this bunch i don't remember which is which ,but i know i used the kenko 10mm tube on one and the Kenko 1.4x on the other Think I'm gonna have to start writhing things down lol

    I like the colors in #2. The OOF highlights in #1 look kinda funky. I would be curious as to which specific combination resulted in that one.

    Thanks for taking the time for a look see Im trying to work out a combo that will let me get the whole Dragon in focus . Heres 3 more from yesterday These were taken with a 105mm and a 1.4X tecon.

    And another Macro , i will keep on posting my Macro`s in here so i don't clutter the forum
    These guys are tough to capture they never stop moving . I was going to give them a shot of Raid but i couldn't lol. it would not have been fair just for a picture hehe!

    PS : Anyone else wanting to post some macro work can do it here if they want , your more than welcome

    What were your settings? To get the entire dragon in focus, I'd try shooting from a little further away without the teleconverter. Then crop in (as much I don't like cropping).

    But that may get you closer to your goal. But at a cost of a more distracting background and higher image degradation from the crop.

    Think i was set at f 2.8, 400 iso, 200 Shutter I will try without the Tcon first chance i get Loupey Thanks for now .Oh and i ordered a SB 600 flash from Cameta it should really help . So get ready I'm gonna need a few flash pointers
