    More Flowers and Critique!?

    Got to practice some more with flower picture taking today!! yay, critique and tell me what you think! no post processing btw...

    What is the name of this flower?! I have no idea what its called, love the red though!



    Managed to get a bug in the flower, haha



    I think I botched up the cropping on this one.

    Technically, they're good - nice exposure, good sharpness, appropriate DOF - but to me they lack personality.

    The "artistic" side is far harder to understand and execute and no one fully masters it. Far be it for me to help guide you in that endeavour; but one can spend a lifetime trying to understand it. Best to keep trying!
