    More Backyard Macro

Well by now everyone knows I don't wander far from the cave. Here are a few from yesterday evening in the back yard. After a day of steady rain everything was washed clean and all had a new feel.

Thanks Amber! Macro is something of an obsession with me. Would like to get a lot better at it.

like the last one with the leaf, great composition and i also like how the stem trails out of the focus.

Thanks, that stem trailing away from the leaf and going out of focus was the main selling point for that image for me as well.

Thanks Paul always pleasure to hear from you. And Scott I appreciate your comments, I kind of have a thing for ants they make great subjects and that leaf caught my eye the moment I saw it.

Well thanks Mike for you very kind assessment, but we can always improve no matter how well we do something. I see people like Loupey and his vast understanding of how macro works and I marvel at it. I really am working at understanding the various techniques and math that goes into predicting just how my shots will turn out.
