    Mo-Ranch - Hunt, TX

My Family and I spent New Year's Eve at Mo-Ranch in Hunt, TX, IMO one of the most beautiful places in the Texas Hill Country.......

A night shot of the lobby

The view from the "Chapel on the Hill"

It was below freezing on the morning of New Years Day. I shot this photo of the swimming area on the river.........I love the effect of the mist rising off the water

    One of the dams

Same as above in B/W (Think I like it better....LOL)

Mo-Ranch is owned by the Presbyterian Church but is open to the public. They have apartments, motel units and camping. There are no TVs or Phones in any of the units and cell phones don't work (to rural). It is lies in a valley along the North Fork of the Guadalupe River between Hunt and Mountain Home.

    Thanks for looking!

It looks like a great place to get away from it all. Nice images, I like the dam, the water doesn't look too 'frozen' or 'milky.'
