    Meet Snatch!

I now wish i hadnt called him this, but ever since he was very little (this years bird) he always snatched food from the others, hence ----Snatch!

He has now become extremely friendly (as they do) but he loves to walk about the garden with me, attached to my hand, and if its got uncooked pastry in it, all the better!

He really has become a character and along with Chippy the robin who gets quite indignant now that Snatch also gets "hand on", im never short of company when out in the garden.

No not an animal trainer, well i train dogs for obedience competion work, but i dont think that counts, i think its because i work from home, i am always in and out in the garden watching, and throwing food for the birds, building up a trust relationship perhaps with them that way, but its liike people, you always have the more up front ones! and that goes for animals too.

Thanks Copy, your birds would, but expect to spend a lot of time out side with them, i sit for ages just throwing pieces of fat watching them get closer and closer over the weeks, then before i know it, they are calling me from the backdoor for their treats.! Theyve trained me actually!!

Just curious, if you're feeding them with both hands, how do you get them in the shot and in focus?

Thats where your husband comes in handy!

I set the camera up for him settings etc, and i gaged roughly where to stand and the distance between myself and camera, and all hubby had to do was focus and shoot!! we tried it round the other way but Snatch is a little shy of anyone else.
