    Meet "Madge"

Thought you might like to meet "madge" the tree sparrow, i have actually got her now to eat from my hand and she has become extremely friendly, the other shots are of her fledgling chick, he/she is so comical to watch, poor thing has been knocked over by starlings, drenched by the rain, but still can show us some aerobics! but at the end its all abit tiring and a nap is needed. This is possibly my last post for a fortnight as i am off on a camping/photography holiday on friday so hopefully will have some photos to share when i get back.

Nice images, and I am always amazed that you get them to pose and eat from your hand ........

    BUT.....

This is a female housesparrow(passer domesticus)

The Eurasian tree sparrow(passer montanus) has a rufous crown in all plumages(male and female)
