    Meal Times

    Pygmy Falcon and Rock Kestrel. The pygmy is less than half the size of a dove. Beautiful little raptor - this one is a female. The kestrel has the mouse. Both pics from recent trip. The giant eagle owl slept throughout - resting up after a good meal during the night no doubt. This was a difficult shot in the shade, deep in the branches of the tree and not allowed to alight from the car !

    The kestrel/mouse shot is AWESOME!!!

    Difficult lighting indeed but a little more post-processing could make it even better.

    Wonderful shots, I've never heard of a pygmy falcon. It's a beautiful bird.
