    Mallards in Infrared. :-D

Heh.. these guys look pretty cool in infrared. Their orange feet turn white, green heads turn black.. Heres a few pics..

if anybody is bothered w/ the click to enlarge, lemme know.. Its just easier to link thumbnails to larger images for those on 56k..

Very interesting. I wouldn't have known they were IR images if you didn't state it. Kinda looks like desaturated and uncalibrated color images though.

The links to the larger images work but it is kind of a pain to click each one and wait for them to upload instead of seeing them all at once. Sorry.

I applaud your curious mind with experimentation!

I agree they look desaturated, foliage is where IR photography really shows. Just thought it would be neat to post some birds in IR.

I've had people complain about posting it in any resolution larger than 640x, but I find that a bit limiting with photos in IR. Ill set 640x's to click to enlarge instead of having tiny thumbnails in future posts.

Interesting pictures. I'd like to see more of your IR work.

I have another thread of it in the viewfinder with some more photos. I'll try to spread out my shots so I dont flood everyone with IR photos.. heh.. unless you guys want floods of them.

I really should make a public photobucket or flikr or something to upload everything to..
