    Macro Sunday Afternoon

So after my bike ride I came home and put on the macro tube and had at 'er again to get better with my new toy. Here's what I captured in a 45 min time frame.

And another round of Macros. Bev's right... it's a whole new world down there. Like a completely alien landscape. The purple and green cones are the Hosta's just breaking the surface.

Nice job Jaedon, love the first image especially the way you have taken this, and the colours sweet!

Being really nit picky (and hope you dont mind me saying) the last two images are slightly out of focus, but this shows how hard this tube work is, the bee that is in focus is great, what lense and tube did you use for these?

Nice job, Jaedon - glad you had a little time to experiment.

I like the four little blue flowers the best. Like a tiny flower arrangement.

For the really in tight shots I was using my 14 - 45 and for the rest I was using my 40 - 150. I knew the second bee was slightly soft but since I only had a few seconds while it cleaned its wings I took what I could get before it flew off. I wanted to show both wings being cleaned. But I still wanted to post it since it is the closest I have ever been able to shoot a bee. The last one of my sons eye was an after thought and I had a few beers under my belt by the time I was PP'ing it... I thought the focus was just the beer goggles.... oops lol. No more photoshopping after beer.
