Cloudy and snow here for me so I wont be loosing any sleep over this one. I watched/photographed one a couple of years ago and it was very cool to see. Good luck to everyone!

Wow! very nice!!!!! that's dedication ! did you stayed up the whole time ?
was the moon near the zenith for you ?
It was for me and made it extremely uncomfortable to be adjusting the camera position to follow the moon , in fact I didn't get good shots near the 100% eclipse
We got to the top of a small hill in Philadelphia around 1:30am. I was amazed how clear the sky was. We went to Wawa before to get hot chocolate, coffee, and Mountain Dew.
I bundled up like crazy and wore 3 layers, but was still cold after 3 hours.
I brought my SLIK 512QF tripod that wasn't really great against the blistering winds. I currently own a Canon 450D, and used the EF 75-300mm III lens.
It was almost at zenith, so it was really tough to aim at the moon with my tripod.
