Yes they are clever. Here is a link to a video which shows just how clever they can be:

    Re: The lucky squirrel

As much as I get my local wildlife - I've never captured a good squirrel photo - such a shame!

    Love this thread.

Loupey - that lazy little guy is so cute!! I love it!

Hey, remember that duck in the beginning of this thread, the one that lost his sweetie bag? Guess what, he found it! Funnily enough, we have this sweetie company in Denmark that specializes in sweets with crude names, the first ones were called "dog farts" lol. But one of the varieties is called "duck food" and it is exactly the same disgusting green colour as what this guy is ingesting

Another one - it might be the same squirrel from the previous shot.

Technically terrible but the moment was fleeting.

Awesome video. I think I had seen the first part before, but the little guy getting the candy bar was definitely new. What clever little buggers.

Pleased to hear it, Dan! Have you had any luck yet?

We've had terrible weather here all week, so I haven't had a chance to get out since this one I met on Monday. This is a slightly different shot, here it's bushy tail really comes to its right, though I prefer the first photo. I really wish I could have gotten down to the ground to shoot but I was so worried of scaring him off. And I don't have backyard full of compliant squirrels I have feeling squirrels here might be a little less tame than yours, not really common backyard stuff?

The last one from me too. This sure has been an enjoyable thread.

I believe this one got a little carried away during it's love making session. :blush2:

Saving the best to last, eh?

Mike, that chubby one is SO cute Your last one is just plain old naughty

And Loupey, your last one is absolutely smashing, beautiful photo - I think that's the one of yours that I like the best. And no wonder your wife and kids fell for it, I would have too!

Wishing I had a backyard full of squirrels....

    Re: The lucky squirrel

    I have 3 to contribute:

1st the famous "white" squirrels of Exeter, Ontario.
There is an entire town full of these.

2nd, the satanic squirrel. I watched his head turn completely around. Honest.:aureola:

    and finally,

"Squirrel Porn" This guy thinks he's the "Dirk Diggler" of the squirrel world.

    Cheers,

No more white squirrel pics at this time. I should make another run up there though to get some better ones.

I apologise for Benny Hill, I realise for American audiences it needs subtitles.
If you don't appreciate Monty Python and it's place in the evolution of comedy, that's a shame.
I'd hardly call them a negative influence

But Simon Cowell, if he got mugged on a street corner I think there'd be people lining up for a go ... you could keep him. Preferably somewhere very safe, and dark, and ... locked up.

Wombat, Monty Python is the best thing since sliced bread! Along with sherry trifle...

Randy, that's a pity but I shall wait eagerly for when the time comes - and you'd better remember to share

Dan, just get out there and show us your squirrels
