Great shots, Eric. What a variety!

    I think 18 is a great-tailed grackle.
    20 and 21 looks like a Groove-Billed Ani

    I think I found 22- Great Kiskadee

Re: Macaws, Toucan's & more from Costa Rica.....image heavy!!!

Cut n paste info from someone who is a birding expert from another forum:

The Macaws are feeding on Tropical Almonds-(not related to real Almonds)

    4-6 Fiery-billed Aracari
    7-9 Crimson-fronted Parakeet
    10-12 Chestnut-mandibled Toucan
    13 American Pygmy Kingfisher-almost world's smallest Kingfisher
    14 Least Grebe-world's smallest Grebe
    15 Bare-throated Tiger-heron
    16 Slaty-tailed Trogan
    18 Great-tailed Grackle-way louder than our Boat-tailed Grackle
    19 Pale-vented Pigeon
    20-21 Groove-billed Ani-cousin to Cuckoos
22 Great Kiskadee-it is a Flycatcher and pompano's description of its call is right-loud and incessant
    23 Blue-gray Tanager

Great diversity of images and wildlife, Eric - thanks for sharing.

There's a reason why Costa Rica is one of the top wildlife destinations and one I hope to be able to visit soon.
