    A little Monkey business.

Not actually wildlife but i was asked if i would take photographs of some monkeys at a monkey sanctuary for a local artist, and i thought i might add them to an exhibition i have coming up, your comments and views would be appreciated on these.

That first one looks a bit tight on the framing, but otherwise these are great images. I love thefacial expressions primates make!

Good photos Bev . But i always wonder if its the captivity that makes them look sad and even bored at times .

Thanks Paulnj and Knight, yes i agree on the tightness of the framing, il correct that when i actually do the print on the original thanks for pointing this out. To be honest i didnt enjoy doing this job, i dont really like seeing any captive animals especially primates like these that should be up in the trees and canopies covering acres of ground, they all looked sad and all had that same depressed expression, but this is what the artist was trying to capture apparently to portray the captive look.

I agree they look rather sad; I've considered going to the local zoo to practice with my new camera but I'd still much rather see them in the wild in their natural habitat.
    Very nice photos Bev.

The first two are good but the third one is GREAT! While the expression is sad, the hand placement and posture remind me of someone's high school graduation photo
