A little of this & that

    Another black-capped chickadee. Un-cropped

I wish this one would have turned out better

This chipmunk let me get real close. I was afraid he was getting ready to jump on me… those claws look mighty sharp!

And a nasty brown-headed cowbird, un-cropped… I don’t feel bad about cutting off his tail.

    Thank you for looking

LOL, 2 excellent quotes! I can imagine the scene if Alvin did jump on you. A little man-scream goes a long way

I love the fact that many of you are posting great un-cropped images. It forces us to be very selective and careful about our composition. Besides, we all pay top dollar for every megapixel - I'm not about to chop off perfectly good pixels if I can help it!

The biggest bonus is less p/p

Of the four images, only the chipmunk image had a very slight crop. The chipmunk was sitting on top of my neighbors wood pile and the branch he/she was on had saw cut just to the left. I cropped out the edge of the branch to keep the image looking as 'natural' as possible... shhhh, don't tell anyone
