any way I take photography as my first hobby …….

And I took these pictures in Libya ….in (Aljabal al Akhdar) to be particular
Which means (Green Mountain) in Arabic language

So as a beginner I hope to hear your opinion about these pictures :

Very nice pictures...definitely many of them would make great picture postcards or posters...I really like the little waterfalls...I will be working this year to try to capture them better. Keep up the great work and welcome to the PR forums!!!

    Shelmani,

Interesting photos there. It certainly doesn't look like the Libya I am familiar with. Normally all we see here in America is Libya's deserts. It is also interesting to see the ancient ruins, very interesting, some remind me of the Roman ruins I have seen in Italy.

I can not get all your images to load at one time due to you number of images per post. Might I suggest you post a few per post, since some of us are still regreatably on dialup ;)

from the 8 that actually load completely, I think you are off to a great start.I opened your waterfall images in a different window and would suggest that you clean up the broken branches for a more pleasing sceen ;)

The very bottom shot in your first post was blurred some, but the rest are outstanding. Welcome to the board.

Welcome to PR, shelmani. You have some really beautiful images there. All very crisp and sharp. Love the ones of the waterfalls and ruins. You could definitely take quite a few of these and print and frame them. Have to agree with JS in that these pics do not look like the Libya I have seen before since they always seem to show only desert areas.

Hope to see more from you.

    Re: From Libya With Love

    hi all
well ... i did not expect this responce for my pictures i'm really surbrised and gratefull..

    thanks all

and dear JSPhoto ...i have to agree with you that they always show the desert part of libya every where .. and the funny thing here that even in Libya alot of people never seen this part of libya before .. that's why i'm trying to get more and more photos from our forests and green mountains and ruin cities we have .. in order to publish my own travelling website about libya .. so wish me luck .. cuz we don't have goverment support here for things like this .. that's why we always look like terrorests even in our media

And i'm really happy for giving you apart of your memries Mr. genebowhay .. and if your school was in Benghazi city ... that means we gratuated from the same school ..cuz the school i was gaduated from was an amerecan high school here... if so .. i will get some pictures of it just for you

thanks swmdrayfan for your advice i'll try to get my pictures really carefully next time ... and i'm really happy to hear your opinion ..

and thanks srobb for your complement ... and yes i know as i said b4 that they always show the desert part .. cuz it's more than 80% of our country .. and by the way it's really interresting .. but i never went to the desert b4 as i live in costal city

    thanks again for your replies
    Regards from libya
And happy new year to all

    Shelmani
