    Knik River

Taken in late September in Eklutna, Alaska. It was a treat to catch a clear sunny day!

    EDIT:
Figured I save some room and merge another picture? Taken almost in the exact same spot I was crouching, just turned to the right and waited for the sun to lower more.

Light and shadows, great DOF and something in the foreground to ad depth. The forst shot has it all. You must be using a fast, wide-angle lens.

Oh man, it really is. Well, that is when it's not overcast =\. But when it's sunny it's beautiful anywhere you go. If you ever do go, go to Anchorage. You can drive from there to lots of cool spots for photo opportunities.

@Ron, I was using an 18-55mm. To think of it, there was a big air boat that went by right when I pulled up. That would've been really cool, thanks for the reply.
