    The Kestrel

This Kestrel was busy keeping an eye on something in the grass to worry about me creeping up behind him.

perhaps i can get a front shot next time!

not to shabby but I don't think she would enjoy being called a him

Btw... this is a European Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus), not the American Kestrel(Falco sparverius ) for those who may want to know.

Nice! I know what images you'll soon be posting here real quick

Since the head is obscured in all, I like #2 due to the softer background, unusual angle, and ambiquity.

I've only seen and photographed a wild kestral once. I'm envious of your situation. Seriously, the bags are packed...

    Re: The Kestrel

Thanks Copy & Karen and Ooops! thanks for that Paul no wonder SHE always has her back to me, treating me with the contempt i deserve.

Loups this Kestrel is in an ordinary park where i walk my dogs most days, i can honestly say she is there everyday without fail unless the weather is really bad, even if i can only see her hovvering in the distance.
