    Just working out the tube....

    50 f/2 macro, 25mm tube...

    2x life size, give or take.



    And a second shot, pushed nearly two stops (!) Noise totally under control, lots of detail, but a bit lacking in color detail, etc.

    Gotta hand it to you ,your one Brave SOB. If i saw one of those looking in at 500mm i would be way to close for my liking lol and your doing Macros of them lol

    Looks good, Erik.

    You will find that center sharpness does not degrade when using tubes. But distortion and edge sharpness may become a factor - especially when used with zooms.
