    Just some gulls

I think the third one is a ring-bill in first year winter feathers (if I remember what Paulnj said, and I got it right in Sibleys)... last one is just some gulls hanging around with some cormorants.

I like gulls btw We have a great variety of them in the summer.

I really like the brown one.

Gulls used to look the same to me, well to tell the truth all birds did, now I am really seeing them for the first time.

I have The Bushnell 8x21 binoculars on my wishlist for Christmas, I like them b/c they are light and i can put them in my camera case.

Same here... I always thought a gull was a gull... I didn't know there were so many different kinds until recently.

Nice shots Copy_kot, i can spend ages at the river bank enjoying watching the antics that these birds can get up to, although they are a common species, they make excellent subjects to practice flight shots on, a nice size, not too fast and can be caught in some less than boring flight movements, great for panning practice.!

Those legs in the first image remind me of my dear old nans!

Weather looks pretty crappy there too. I don't know about you, but I wish it would stay warm or get colder and snow. This in between stuff doesn't make N/W shooting very easy.
