    Junco - are the branches too distracting?

    Shot this junco this morning from the bathroom window. It's nice to get a shot of a junco that isn't on the ground, but are all the branches above and behind it too distracting?

    Slightly but I still like it, I always think of it as natural framing and its not easy to get these guys in the clear when perched if they are not on the ground they are usually in the center of the shrubs or tree.

    Mike i don't find this distracting at all ,it would be distracting if you were cataloging specimens but this is not the case here so Well Captured

    The little branches and the background doesn't bother me.

    But that main branch he is perched on is a bit thick and blocks a good portion of the bird IMO.

    It's a bit busy, but not bad. I would definitely clone out the branch that is sticking him in the back and maybe the one making contact with his head. Other than that, it's a perfect exposure.
