    Japanese Beetle

    Hello... I joined this forum a while ago but this is the first I've posted up.... one of my biggest photog passions is macro work, especially bugs... here's a Japanese beetle shot I took over the weekend...

    Nice shot ! Really like the colors this beetle reflects - This past weekend I seen one in a tree and was trying to get an angle on it and my buddy "moved the branch to help" and the beetle dropped to the ground so no shot ....

    I know these things are considered pests, but the make for gorgeous photo subjects. Nice photo.
