    the trail of twigs from the nest looks like the bird equivalent of toilet paper on your shoe

    Great shots Eric, the grass in its talons is a bit distracting but these are wonderful shots.

    What else can i say Eric but WOW sweet captures . Are these full frame and another thing i would like to know Eric is do you the center sensor for in flight or one of the side sensors or do you let your auto focus select for you ?

    Nikon D300 has a 1.6 crop factor (not full frame) and I always use center sensor for inflight shots. I easily lock in on the subject.
