    Incoming Bald Eagle..

    B]Thought I change Eagles nest so I went back to the one that had a Juvi in it. Today I learned there are actually 2 of them...little guy was keeping a low profile!! Tough nest to get a real clear shot on.

    Clouds were in and out all day but managed to find some light....


    Mama buzzing by pretty dam close!![/B]

    That was good for photos, i.e., reduced the chances of getting blown highlights. More details in the light areas. Make this set looks better than others IMO.

    Excellent shots, Eric. I'm hoping to accompany a naturalist before long when he checks on eagle nests. Ice storm put that off, too. These youngster look fairly large. I was hoping to get some shots of an adult feeding little ones. O well.

    Hopefully I will get some of those. The other nest I photo at...eggs just hatched. They were late this year due to some nest rebuilding they had to do. Hope to get some shots in the next couple of weeks.
