Very nice John, good to see you expanding your photographic horizons even farther. I'm not a big spider fan either, but as you say they make pretty good photo subjects. I found gobs of them a couple of week ago around a lake not far form my house while out trying to find dragonflies.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

Garden spiders are large and a bit creepy, but in all my years of running through fields and hitting webs.... none have ever bit me and they seem twice as scared of me as I am of them. And I assure you a spider that size on you is enough to give you a heart attack

    Nice images!

You have a point there Onie....but some don't pose, and are fast to get away.

    Nice images!
Thanks Paul. And I almost had a FEW heartattacks this past weekend. I spent the weekend in a house rewiring it and had thousands of spiders in the basement and crawl spaces.....and then there was the attic, not as bad, but hotter than heck! I have to go back up there today But that should be the end of it for this house.
Oh, did I mention they had dead rats the size of small dogs in the basement & crawlspaces?
