Thanks for looking, everyone. And Canon_Bob, you do know how to rub it in

Those "day 1" images were with the 40D and either the 300mm or the 24-105mm f/4L IS lens (both with tubes of course).


Went back for "day 2" images armed with the 5D and only the 180mm macro lens. Wanted to concentrate only on colors, textures, details. Use a flash for some images:

It really is a lot like shooting fish in a barrel


I'll wrap it up in a few days with "day 3" images. I will take the 40D with the 70-200mm f/2.8L IS to shoot in-flight images.
