    Hummingbird with fisheye

Here is a backyard hummingbird coming in for an evening snack. I shot this with a fisheye lens and a radio trigger. I used 1 SB900 with defuser hanging from the roof to light this little guy. I thought it would be cool to use the fisheye for this instead of the usual long lens for a different effect. This shot came out exactly as I wanted it to. I just need to get some more of them this summer!

That is outstanding and one of the most unique hummingbird shots I've ever seen.

Excellent use of a fisheye lens!

It is refreshing to see a different angle on things. Thanks for sharing.

(Note: a fisheye/wide angle can also be used for interesting perspectives for macros.)
