    That is one crazy looking bird. Amazing how many shapes, sizes, and colors birds come in.

    great looking bird - nice bright yellows - excellent dof! I have tried a few times shooting birds and failed miserably - gotta give kudos to you guys that can get it done

    Thanks for the comments all. For any who have never tried it, shooting Warblers is a REAL challenge. They are very tiny, and very quick. Never in one place more than a few seconds. They have just started arriving here in earnest for the fall migration, so l'll be shooting them a lot in the next few weeks. But they are also really fun when you nail one!

    pufff i have a shot of a hooded warbler ( and a conneticut warble) filling up the same amount of the frame i took with my old canon s1 is.... i'll look around for them and post them if i find them

    Dylan, Conneticut warbler in migration are a joke from my experience. I have had them walking at my feet

    If anyone needs tips on shooting neotropicals in migration, just PM me with the questions

    That because 1-2 are spotted yearly in our area and all are in fall migration. 1 spring conneticut warbler was ever reported in NJ ... ever!

    Mist net images don't count dude, my friend does that and she uses a 50 macro
