    Hooded Merganser from a distance

Deeply cropped in. I think most of these were 300mm with a 1.4 TC. He was across the pond.

I was shooting some of the geese when I saw a little teeny thing moving by next to them, LOL. First thought it was a wood duck, then he dove Then I got the teleconverter on and was able to see him a teeny bit.

Not great shots, but my first hooded merganser, so I wanted to share.

Don't ya just hate it went you find them so far off. Welcome to my world, haha
The framing on the shots are really nice. It's nice to see some of the area every now and then. Thanks for sharing them
