Here's one I took thursday, I've seen these birds my last two times out.

Palm warbler.... ah spring is coming ;) Catching one perched isn"i easy and the tail wasn't going either

I think you may be right, because their tongue does look like that

Tricolored Blackbird or just a Redwing Blackbird or are they the same bird Paulnj

I would say tricolored blackbird, but I've never seen a one. It appears to have red and white on the wing and the bicolored variant of RWBB has red and yellow.

Theres quite a few of them around here , this is the only one that would stay still for a few seconds . Ill try and C if i cant get a photo of a tri and a bi next week.
