    hello from yellowstone

Hello all, its been a while. I finally have decent internet connection from yellowstone so expect a few photos to be floating in from me for a while.

here's a little variety, nothing spectatular, but some decent photos. i really need lens combo bigger than my 70-200 (2.8) + 1.7x tc. but i make do.....

unknown bird (can anyone id it?)

    artist point

black bear and cub climbing down tree after napping in it for 2 hours...

and this black bear ended up catching an elk calf 100 yards from my dorm (where this shot was taken) we saw it out the window being chased by mom. unfortunantly when it grabbed the calf (it got stomped on by mom) and was gone real quick.... and i missed most of it due to obstructions and not realizing it was grabbing a calf.

    Hi Dylan,
Great shots thanks for sharing them. I believe the first photo is a female Mtn Blue Bird.
