    He and She from yesterday :)

    Just a couple of Evening Grosbeak's i had at my winter feeder yesterday.

    Winter? You already have winter? You have my sympathy. Actually, we're not far behind. We'll be lucky to get much above the freezing mark tomorrow.

    Beautiful birds you got there. I especially love the second one with the rich colors.

    Outstanding job on the male Glenn. Simply stunning. I have yet to see these guys in my area but they should be here in the next few weeks if there out your way now, but I doubt I will get a shot as nice as these. Awesome job.

    I have driven 120 miles to see one only to have it disappear that morning..GRRRRRR
    That's one of the few bird species I have never seen too!

    Thanks for taking a look ,these guys will empty a bird feeder in about a hour and they really make a mess of it LOL .I have a photo of a Pine Grosbeak .that i got yesterday also , its a male ,there was no female in sight. Ill post it up later.

    Thanks for your comments guys , i read some place that their population had been on the downfall due to deforestation but is slowly rising again.

    Great images, Knight, very sharp and crisp. We had winter on Sunday in our part of the West - about 3 - 5 cm of the dreaded white stuff all over everything and Dec. 21 is a long way off.
