    Hayden valley morning

This morning, for sunrise (animal) shots, i headed to hayden valley. While it was still pretty dark i spotted two wolves ( alpha male and yearling female of the canyon pack) near/on the road. i watched the female chase a raven on the road, and trot along a large field for quite a while.

but the shots of the day came later (once it got lighter out) there was a coyote in a pull out that, not only didn't run, but wandered closer, when i pulled in to park.

    Thanks for looking

Beautiful pictures, I like them all. The closeup on the coyote's eyes is awesome.

Dylan, you were very lucky but pre-dawn is the time to go there and explore.

    Thanks paul, randimal, and cala.

Gallo, predawn is awesome there. Its was slightly better last summer, but its been picking up this fall (but the road closes this weekend). however unless its bright light i usually get crappy images due to shooting with a d200 and it has bad iso (compared to new cameras)
