    Hawk Eye........

    While hiding along the creek and pond waiting on my favorite Wood Ducks to float by i heard a loud disruption behind me up in the tree. Juvi Red Shouldered Hawk was watching me watching for Ducks! he was so close this is all i managed to get into the frame. I was in some strange lighting as you can see on the hawk.....

    WOW! those are really awesome! The light is just perfect IMO and the crisp definition is fabulous! Every time I see pics from a D300 like these tempts me big time....DIE PIGGY BANK DIE!
    What lens did you use?

    Fabulous. Luck was definitely on your side and you took advantage of it. An added bonus is, he must have been close to eye level.
