    Hawk

    This shot was taken at the Berkshire Bird Sanctuary.... shot through a fence and a fence was behind the hawk as a backdrop... I was able to deaden out most of the background... the shot was taken using NikonD200 and Sigma50-500mm lens...

    Looks great, I think birds are such incredibly photogenic creatures. Super detail on the head feathers.

    A shame not get some light on the eye because they can be stunning looking, but sometimes theres nothing you can do about things like that.

    Excellent detail in the feathers. For birds, and especially birds of prey, I think the eyes are the most important features to capture. So I would have liked to see a little sun in this one's eye or no hint of eye at all (sillouette for example).
