Great Blue Heron - right at me

I was watching this guy while he was perched a little ways out from me, would have had great shots except for the tree between us that I couldn't see around... Suddenly he takes flight and comes straight at me.







Trying to zoom back as he approached, I lost him in the viewfinder, which set the focus hunting, and by the time I recovered him he was gone, all I had were feet.
