Good looking family!

Tundra Swans are certainly not common around SW MN, which is why I thought it was realy cool that a pair decided to raise a family nearby. Last year the pair was first spotted at this spot and this year they must have decided it was a nice place to start a family.

Never seen a tundra swan, they look a lot like trumpeters.

The only way I discovered they were Tundra and not Trumpeter is by looking at the juvies. According to my Sibley book, only the Tundras have pink bills.
