    Georgia Aquarium

I put this in critque and then thought it might be of interest here on the nature board...

I finally got to the Georgia Aquarium this month, a place I'd wanted to go for a while. The aquarium was a wonderful place - the best facility of its type I've seen, but horribly overcrowded and seemingly not built for the crowds.

    All shots with a Nikon D200 and 105mm f/2 lens at f/2.

    Re: Georgia Aquarium

That first one is gorgeous. Nice lighting and delicate flowing tentacles.

I like the last one too - lighting is nicely balanced between the girl and underwater background.

The lighting in the other shoots are a bit too "natural" for my taste - the scattered light causing the loss of the lower frequency lightwaves makes the specimens too blue.

    What's a Loupe for anyway?

The first one is terrific. I also like the rays.
