First Attempts

Hi, my names Joe and this is my first attempt at taking some very beginner photo's with a new Sony DSC-W70 that I picked up. I just popped off a couple shots from around my house to see how I liked the camera. I want to emphasize on beginner

I warmed up all 3 of these using Adobe Lightroom:







Comments? Suggestions?

For a first attemp it looks fine to me, I am sure in no time at all, you will master the use of your camera and be able to shoot fantastic shots. Keep on shooting.

It looks like you're off to a good start. I like the third image with the old glass insealators a lot

Very nice, Cultex! I like the lemons myself - how you captured not just the lemons themselves but the environment they are in. Nicely framed too.

Thanks for the compliments everybody! I plan on sticking with the digi I have now, and then sometime next year picking an SLR of some sort.

only due to the 2 great mods here being present while JS was on a hiatus

Might I add that both forums are great and each has it's own style that must be mastered, though I am not a sports fan myself

I like poking fun at sports photogs only because I haven't had the chance to join em. Otherwise, I'd probably jump ship (at least temporarily)
