    Finding beauty in the ugly

So I decided to visit a new park and found it in a most ugly state. The river had overflowed its banks to a very high extent and a lot of the forest floor was deluged in mud and debris (like shopping bags and swaths of dead leaves). As I walked around though, it began to show me some gems worth sharing -

Unknown bush/small tree greening up -

Maple blossoms overhang the river -

    High riverbank -

    Overhanging trees in B&W -

anyway, this park has potential once spring really and truly takes over. Plus it has lots of maples (including sugars which give us that lovely orange in the fall) and other deciduous trees, so it might be worth going back to someday. thanks for looking. Comments welcome.

#2 is sweet. We get a lot of garbage along the river I shoot by also. Litterbugs suck.

Thanks much. the second shot was sort of a fluke, I had my attention fixed on something else along a great bend in the trail, then shot a glance over my shoulder and saw those branches. Went back.

thanks you very much. The last one was sort of a challenge in its own right - it took me a while to find the right trees undraped with plastic bags after the river flooded its banks.
