    A finch?

    found this guy on my way to work saturday, he was nice enough to hang around for a couple dozen shots. Can someone give me an ID? total length was about two and a half inches, about half the size of a common sparrow.

    It looks like a gold finch, and I think he is a she Nice shots Erik.

    paul is the expert but my guess is female gold finch
