More ducks and geese from Saturday (image heavy)

Hope you aren't sick of these guys yet... especially since I haven't even got to Sunday's shots yet!

A little too soft, just turned and grabbed it when a goose chased him back to the water

Nice. One of my goals this year is to get JUST ONE good capture of a male mallard. I just can't seem to get close enough to the ones I have seen yet.
Walk softly and carry a big lens.

    Thanks Eric, Sartech.

The nature center is located in a retirement village (the entire complex used to be the Cook County TB Sanitarium), so these guys are surrounded by people and a lot of old folks who drive over and throw them their old bread. So they're pretty darn tame and easy to shoot.

That said, even with them being willing subjects, they're so darn hard to expose properly! If the head isn't too dark then the rest of them is blown out.

LOL, Jeff, and this was AFTER I already weeded some out with my splashing thread and the mallard fight.

And I still have Sunday's to go through :P
