    a few fungus shots

I havent been out shooting in a while (crappy weather, lack of subjects) but I decided to head out the other day after some fresh snow had fallen. I took some pictures of this bright orange fungus growing on a tree. Not the best but it will do.

I think the white-balance on your camera was thrown off but I really like #1 and #2 (especially).

The blues and the orange are really striking when combined like that. Also, the jagged texture of the bark against the soft edges of the fungi is very appealing. The image is Contradictory yet Complimentary - very cool

Thank you Loupey! Yea, the WB might have been off. I recall playing around with that setting due to the snow. I probably left the WB on something I shouldnt have, rather than auto.

The orange caught my eye, as you can imagine, with just white and gray colors all around.
