    I like seeing captures of some of our common feathered friends. You are a ways from Chicagoland, but these are very common to me. Must be very adaptable species. - TF

    Great shots, Scott.

    I'm seeing them around Chicago more than ever now that I'm out looking Though I see the Hairy Woodpecker's, not the Downy's.

    OC, just curious, have you ever been to any of the forest preserves around Milwaukee and Half Day Road? I know there's a couple around here. I keep thinking I'm going to check some out on my lunch hour one of these days.

    Beautiful birds and super shots of them. I love the little Chickadee. The Nuthatch is one that I've wished for in my yard and the Downy shot is lovely.

    Never seen a downy perching like that. Every time I saw them, they were busy
